Owners must obtain approval from the Board of Directors for most architectural improvements to their home. Before any improvements that require prior approval can begin, owners MUST have written approval from the Board of Directors. The process is simple, but you will need to plan your improvement schedule!
1. Fill out an Architectural Application.
2. Return the completed architectural application along with any required diagrams, pictures and/or brochures, to the CVI office. The application will be forwarded to the Board of Directors.
3. The Board of Directors will review your application at the next scheduled meeting. Please note that the Board usually meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month (see Meeting Dates). Please make sure that your application is received by CVI at least one week prior to the upcoming meeting in order for the Board to review it at the meeting.
4. Once reviewed, you will be notified in writing of the Board’s decision.
